The History of Upland Fab

Machining Plastics in Southern California for over 50 years!

In May 1970, Virginia and Guy Johns purchased several manual machines and founded Upland Fab in a 2,500-square-foot building in Upland, California. From these humble beginnings, Upland Fab has grown into 12,000-square-feet of modern manufacturing space with twenty five employees. Using the latest CNC equipment, Upland Fab produces complex precision plastic components and assemblies for a wide range of industries.

Upland Fab has been a family-owned business for three generations. Patsy Sapra, Guy and Virginia's daughter, joined the company in 1983 and ushered in the computer age at Upland Fab with the purchase of the first CNC machines in 1985. Patsy's son, Paul Sapra, joined the company in 1998 after earning an engineering degree. Paul is currently the CEO with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company.
